Jayet Khali - جات خالی

In Persian, there is an expression: “Jayet Khali”. Literally, it means, “Your place is empty.”

You say it when you miss someone. When a person is missing and you feel that something is incomplete.

For us, جات خالی describes much more than a feeling. It describes a reality.

Every day, people in Germany live with an uncertain immigration status. They want to work, study, begin an apprenticeship, or simply settle in. But they often get lost in complex procedures, long wait times, and bureaucratic hurdles—not because they lack the will, but because they lack access.

As long as people are unable to exercise their rights, their place in our society remains vacant.

We believe that a society becomes stronger when every person has the opportunity to take their rightful place.

We make residency laws easier to understand, more accessible, and available online. This way, fewer people get lost in the bureaucratic jungle, and more people get the chance to truly settle in.
